What Is a Cronus Zen Script?

A Cronus Zen script is a small program, written in a language called GPC, that runs on the Cronus Zen and changes what your controller sends to the console. The Zen sits between your controller and the console, and the script can press, hold, time or repeat inputs for you.

Where a script runs

The script runs on the Zen, not on the console or a PC. That is why the same script works on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Windows PC: the Zen handles the connection to whichever machine it is plugged into.

What scripts do

  • Timing: release a jump shot or a button at a set moment, like the NBA 2K27 scripts.
  • Aim: smooth or steady stick movement, like the Call of Duty and Fortnite scripts.
  • Combos: run a chain of inputs from one button press.
  • Remaps: move a button to another button or paddle.
  • Menus: most scripts have settings you change on the Zen screen with your controller.

Slots and files

  • The Zen holds 8 scripts at once, one per slot. You switch slots with the right blue button on the Zen.
  • Scripts come as .gpc source files, or as sealed .cz files shared from cronuszens.com.
  • You program them to the Zen from your browser in Studio, with nothing to install. Steps: program-scripts.

Do Zen scripts use AI?

No. The Zen runs offline, and a script presses buttons and moves sticks at set times. A script sold as using AI is marketing.

Writing your own

Scripts are written in GPC. Collective Minds' Zen Studio has a full editor and compiler, with Build and Run to test a script without programming a slot. To put your own .gpc file on a slot, use Your own file in Studio; if it does not compile, Show details gives the line to fix.

GamePacks are something else: Collective Minds' ready-made game setups, loaded in Zen Studio.

Where to get scripts

Find scripts by game in Scripts. Most are free. Club scripts come with the paid plans, compared in Plans and prices. Before using any script in an online game, read bans.
