Mouse and keyboard settings
The Zen stores one .zmk profile at a time, so Save to Device replaces the one already on it.
- Connect the Zen's PROG port to your PC.
- Open Zen Studio Live in Chrome, click Connect Device, pick Cronus Bridge and click Connect.
- Open Mouse & Keyboard Settings.
- Optional: click Import to start from a saved
.zmkfile. - Name your profile in the Profile field.
- Pick the profile to edit: HIP, ADS or AUX 1 to AUX 4. Each AUX profile switches on with a key or mouse button you assign.
- Choose PlayStation or Xbox button labels.
- On the Primary and Secondary tabs, set a key or mouse button for each controller button. Press the input to capture it, or × to clear a row.
- On the Movement tab, set the left stick keys (default W, A, S, D).
- Set Walk Scale for how slowly you move while holding the WLK key (default
G). - Set Analog Sim so W, A, S, D ramp up like a stick instead of jumping to full.
- On the Controller tab, remap the sticks and triggers with the dropdowns and set a Deadzone for each.
- Tune your aim under Aim Settings (list below).
- Optional: shape the Ballistic Curve (list below).
- Press Finalize, then Save to Device.
- Optional: click Export to keep a copy of the
.zmkfile.
Aim settings
- Sensitivity: overall aim speed. Raise it to turn faster.
- X/Y Ratio: up and down speed as a share of left and right speed.
1.00means both match. - Boost: amplifies the stick output, so small mouse moves turn the aim further.
- Smoothness: blends recent mouse readings to remove shake. More smoothing is steadier but adds delay.
- Invert Y-Axis: flips up and down.
- Game Deadzone X and Y (under Translator): cancel out the game's stick deadzone so the slightest mouse movement still moves the aim.
- Game Deadzone Shape: set it to match the shape of the game's deadzone.
- Analog Stickize: a multiplier on the emulated stick output.
Ballistic curve
- The horizontal axis is mouse movement and the vertical axis is aim movement, both
0to10k. - A straight line from corner to corner is linear, so the aim moves exactly as much as the mouse.
- Drag a point, or type its exact X and Y.
- Remove drops the selected point. The first and last points always stay.
- Reset returns the curve to linear.
