Headsets

  • USB wireless dongle (2.4 GHz) in the console: works
  • USB headset or USB DAC: works
  • PS Link: works
  • 3.5 mm jack on the controller: works only while the controller is wired to the Zen by USB and the console's Bluetooth is on
  • Headset paired to the console over Bluetooth: does not work

PS5

  • Zen Link PS5 Native Mode needs the console's Bluetooth off. That cuts audio from the controller jack and from Bluetooth headsets, so use a USB headset or a USB dongle.
  • A DualSense paired to the Zen over Bluetooth gives no 3.5 mm audio. Wire it into A2 or A3 instead.
  • The DualSense built-in mic and speaker are not supported.

Switch

  • Joy-Con and the Pro Controller have no headset jack.
  • Docked, plug a DualShock 4 v2, DualSense or Xbox controller into A3 and use its jack.
  • A DualShock 4 v1 (CUH-ZCT1X) gives no audio.
