PlayStation 4

PS4 Pro: plug CONSOLE/PC into a rear USB port on the console. The front ports cannot power the Zen.

  • Consoles: PS4, PS4 Slim, PS4 Pro
  1. In Zen Studio, set the output protocol to PlayStation 4/5 (output-protocol).
  2. Plug CONSOLE/PC into the PS4.
  3. Using a DualShock 4: plug it into A1.
  4. Crossover (a controller from another platform): plug a DualShock 4 v2 into A1 as the AUTH controller and leave it connected while you play.
  5. Crossover: plug the controller you play with into A3 (wired).
  • DualShock 4 v2 (CUH-ZCT2X): the light bar can be seen through the touchpad.
  • DualShock 4 v1 (CUH-ZCT1X): no headset or speaker audio, and it cannot be the AUTH controller.
  • Some licensed third-party controllers need a DualShock 4 v2 in A1 to work over Bluetooth.
  • PlayStation Move controllers pair to the Zen over Bluetooth, left and right separately.
